No power required at the doorbell / intercom / camera end. Power over the Cat-5. Works for me.

 

Cheaper would be better! :)

Bet you it’s a flakey connection . Poe solves a lot of problems . Anyway ! Why do you need a camera at your front door ? No one visits you ?

Who knows ref the quality? Might set up tomorrow with a long bit of Cat-5.

Need a source for 4, black, L shaped, rubber corner protectors I can stick onto the exposed column edges. 2m long would be good. Cheaper the better as spending £300 on wireless safety edges!
