One specialist quoted £160K+VAT  for the plasterwork to do it as traditional construction, mind you (on ceiling with a plan area of 47m²), which seemed a bit rich, hence the idea to 3D print it.

Wow, £3,400 per square metre for the ceiling alone.  That puts the £/square metre budget of most self build houses into perspective.

I like the Gridshell building at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum.  Should not take you too long to design something similar for your client's granny annex...
