  1. Good explanation here on HW https://energy-stats.uk/arotherm-plus-hot-water-modes/ I use ECO over the summer to maximise solar PV consumption
  2. Have had cooling running for the last few days, just downstairs using UFH. It does help. It's not as effective as A2A AC , but for £5 it's worth it. I am also exploring using fans on rads for upstairs. It drops the temp down a few degrees.
  3. when it gets cold and humid air hits that box ... probs won't last long !
  4. Octopus Go Faster. 6hrs cheap 0130->0630. 12kW Vaillant ASHP
  5. I'd stick to a European brand. Know your data is safe then...
  6. ebusd plays nicely now with home assistant (auto config) via mqtt. I log into open energy monitor via node-red , using mqtt .
  7. Did you go for a solar reflective coating on the windows? Seems to make quite a difference
  8. Contact Freedom heat pumps? They are the importer in the UK
  9. If you're designing for the future go ASHP. Expect gas to get more expensive relative to electricity in the longer term. It's also really cool heating your house off solar on a bright and cold winters day. I'd also put in as much PV as possible.
  10. We have cooling! When I looked last night, the Outdoor temp 24hr average menu item (sensoComfort Installer menu) wasn't displayed. I've looked this morning and it's now there. Looks like it needs 12hrs or so to start calculating the avg. I can now manually enable cooling. Planning on using it via timed mode to make use of solar PV.
  11. Active cooling enabled , and I've manually set a circuit to manually cooling .. but nothing so far 😞 Anyone else got this working on the aerotherm plus?
  12. There's lots of info on the ebusd GitHub site. I mainly just read to generate CoP figures etc. Most attributes can be written to as well.
  13. @Dan FWhat are you wanting to do via ebus? Assume you know about ebusd?
  14. My understanding is that it will calculate the dew point and prevent condensation. It has humidity and temperature sensors. I'd trust your own research rather than an "installer."
