Yes that is excellent. But I was more leaning towards those wow factor type things - that don't need to cost the earth you know. For example ( off the top of my head ) some walk on glazing perhaps?
-
Took me 5 years . You got there ! Have you thought about glazing ?

I wish one day to have an electric car . There’s a multitude of different chargers , but as I don’t have the vehicle nor the charger I can’t select anything . Presumably it’s just a meaty cable off the consumer unit to the charger ? To future proof what’s the meatiest cable I could put in even if it’s overkill ? ??

Tbh with previous painting ( roller and brush ) touching that up always looks crap . So I end up doing the whole wall anyway ; agree that re rolling a wall would be quicker than respraying it . But as you know - why make a job easy ! ?
-
Then I shall be damned !
-
I’m a big boy - I’ll risk a perfect texture that never needs touching up
-
Erm , what’s the right answer here ? I assume just spray and forget ... ?
-
I just have the boys toy version ?

Yeah it’s new plaster so planned to do 2 watery coats first . As that dries then mix final coat ( probably with a touch of water to help it flow better )
-
Yeah I was going to do that anyway . Bought 3 extra buckets .
-
Well ! Glad I did a water test ! Initially you hold the gun over a bucket as you prime . Instructions say once the fluid comes out to stop and attach the nozzle . Needless to say I continued holding until the gentle stream turned into a Niagra falls under pressure ! . Just got a bit wet - if it had been paint then I would have painted the room I think in about 2 seconds in a rather uncontrolled manner !! Will run through the procedure once more . Surprised how wide the spray is ( against some ply as a test ) but can also see how even it is !!
-
Will do . Also have an sds mixer attachment. Something else I’ve read is you spend more time mixing than you do painting and it’s worth it
-
Ummm . Not that I’m aware of You already make it sound bad

Yeah I know . But I really want to get the ensuite and bathroom ceilings done then the sparky can fit lights ; then I can begin tiling . I don’t want to tile in poor light . That was my logic . Regarding the rest of the house ( or at least upstairs ) would probably spray that in one go .

An email to super helpful Wagner clear up a few mistakes . The green ‘key’ actually effects the spray and you use the correct one for the thickness of paint / liquid . Obviously I had the wrong one installed . Also in the instructions they connect the gun straight to the hose . But it would seem you need to put the hea filter inbetween them ! . Now the hea filter may be red or white - struggling to open it without force too see what filters in there A few more Wagner questions then I’ll be ready for a water test .... ??
-
Tell me about it ! Once I’ve balls’d this up you can have it with some free walk on glazing ?
-
Thanks . I just worked out how to get it in . So it just faces forwards whilst spraying ? If turned completely ( arrow facing at user ) what’s it do then ? Any other advice before I commit ?? Notice the hose to gun fitting can unscrew as flex moves ....
-
I don’t get the point of this key ? It doesn’t seem to fit in the hole above the nozzle and I don’t want to force it . Am I ok to just put water through this as a test ?

I know a builder who thought it would be easy . Tenant moved in , paid no rent . He then moved in his girlfriend. Months later as eviction date approaches she magically becomes pregnant. Stay of execution . He finally listened to me and got them evicted properly . They own him 8k in rent !!! . He won’t pursue them ! - just glad it’s over . Did up the house and sold it . Said he’d never rent again and doesn’t understand how I cope .... In our new after corona virus world there will be less LL’s . They were leaving in droves before CV19 due to regs / law. Where will everyone live ? . Rents will rocket as demand far out strips supply . Then rent capping in some form will eventually happen . Even less LL’s then . One day the question will be asked “Where did all the LL’s go ? “ . I wonder .... ??

My advice based on the fun you’ve had is don’t bother . You need to want to be a landlord as your agent seems shite . Buy a property . Do it up / add value . “Live in it” then sell so no CGT . Everyone who has never been a LL thinks it’s easy , until they become one and have problems ?
-
Do you mean per tenant ? Nope - I just get one done every 12 months regardless of tenant change or not . Again that’s my interpretation of the law .
