  1. Sorry I did mean that but I was wrong, it is one window piece but still opens. Just means it's not two side by side so reduces the mullion by 105mm
  2. Thanks for the comments. I hadn't even though about getting rid of the horizontal mullion, it was drawn like that in the plans by the architect not sure why and then the windows were priced based on this. We have two other windows with the horizontal mullion so I will ask them to get rid of this, dunno why I hadn't thought of that. Good point though, thanks for that. I actually emailed Internorm after I posted this and asked could I do the big window in one piece, they said they can make it as one window so think we are going to go with that.
  3. Thanks for this, they do seem like a really good window. I have read about alot of install issues in the UK, I am based in Ireland so hopefully that is not the case here. Good to know about the sides and top, thats what I was hoping. My only concern is my big windows will have 105mm + 105mm side by side so it will be thick as shown in my pic attached.
  4. Thanks I will query this sealant when the time comes, or even better before I place our order. I have priced around and Internorm are competitive with alot of other brands who supply polish windows. I haven't seen any pics of the KF520 installed, we only saw it in the show room and when I have asked the agent for pics they struggled to get any from installs. I don't think many get this window, I am based in Ireland so might ask UK suppliers for pics.
  5. Have you solar and a battery? I am building and installing Loxone. Was thinking I will get the Gateway with a Sigenergy system so can run the house if we lose power.
  6. Thanks Russell, I will email them now to confirm. Do you have the KF 520 window?
  7. We are thinking of going with Internorm KF 520 windows, has anyone pics of them installed? We saw them in a showroom and they looked great however I would like to see how thick the frame is, can it be hidden in the cavity? Also I have one massvie windows so will be two sections, id love to see how the frame will look at the joint? Thanks
  8. @tanneja Did you go with the KF520 windows? We are looking at these and would love to see pics of them installed and the frame width on the outside if possible?
  9. Thanks everyone, I think I will go with a self-install. The prices are a few grand cheaper for a self-install which includes the Zehnder system.
  10. Hi all, Getting quotes for a MVHR system in my build. I am installing a Loxone system if that has any relevance. Basically should I get a system which has sensor in the ducts? Logically thinking it makes sense so if someone is in the shower or bath the system know, why wouldn't I go for a MVHR that doesnt when this is an option at no extra costs from what I see? I was thinking of getting the Zehnder system from BPC and doing a self install, what are your thoughts on this? Any advice or guidance? If I do a self install I will need someone to commission? Is the cost savings worth it? Also the Zenhnder when supplied and installed is a few grand more, it is hardly worth that?
  11. It is probably too late at this stage but Hugh (Ex Loxone) does panel designs and is brilliant. https://www.thamesvalleyautomation.co.uk/
  12. What boxes are you using for concrete? The loxone ones are only for plasterboard I believe? I will be building next year so curious, thanks.
  13. Hi Jack, Is it not a simple solution to just increase the temperature on the loxone schedule during this period of low cost tariffs?
  14. Just in relation to the cons, does the Nano 2 relay not do point 2 & 3? "The Nano 2 Relay Tree automatically detects the end position of blinds. This not only saves a considerable amount of time during installation but also saves tiresome recalibration of the travel times. Due to the fully automatic end stop detection, the current position of the shading is displayed immediately and accurately within the app. "
  15. Hi, If I have MVHR installed, how can you control the bathroom extractor for example? Is a cable needed at the MVHR fan in the bathroom or is it controlled back at the unit itself? Or maybe it depends
