Conor Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Hi. Costing floor types at the minute before committing. What is the approximate cost per m2 for hollowcore bison slabs for typical spans and loadings? Nothing more than 6m length 200mm thick. Want to be able to compare directly to floor deck system like comflor or metfloor. Cheers
kxi Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 We had quotes from Leroc and Bison on 300m2 of 150mm hollowcore, max 6m spans. Roughly £50/m2 and £57/m2, supply and fix, including passive fall arrest. Price does not include structural topping (to be supplied by others). 1
PeterW Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Look at the Jetfloor system that uses beams with EPS infil rather than blocks if you have to go down any sort of suspended flooring route. It combines the insulation and floor in one, and is definitely better than the usual block/insulation/screed sandwich that is used in standard beam and block.

Expand Cheers, but this is for intermediate floors in the house and I'm looking to maximise thermal mass - so precast slabs or poured concrete floors. C.
