Oz07 Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Quick question if the boffins on here wouldn't mind. Is there any reason why I can't use kingspan tr27 under a floor in a renovation? Got one room to renew slab in and want to insulate. It's for flat roofs but what's the difference once it's under concrete? Not suitable for underground? https://www.kingspan.com/gb/en-gb/products/insulation/insulation-boards/therma/thermaroof-tr27-lpc-fm
ADLIan Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Check with kingspan technical dept? Probably more expensive than flooring product if it’s for flat roofing.
Oz07 Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 Not if it's going cheap. But has that person made the same mistake?
scottishjohn Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 nope it will be fine done that before when buying seconds --works fine just different backing basically ,still PIR foam

If you are getting it as seconds, it will probably have damaged edges etc and the glass tissue either side can be a b!&ch to cut with a saw so slit it with a very sharp Stanley knife first.
