How to Decide

Hi Guys,

 

We are trying to decide the colours for our windows and doors.  Need some advice or Pictures.

 

So we are wanting to go for black windows, and a black front door.  We will have silver quartzite stone and a grey render with granite chips.  So the question is regarding the door surround.

 

I prefer a cream surround but my wife prefers a black surround to match the windows.  I'll put up a few pictures so you can see what i mean.

Cream for me. Is the door going to be wooden as black upvc swells with the sun.

Aye, its the wooden door I think.  I had asked him about the composite but they dont do them in that style.

The fella that we got our door from wouldnt guarantee it if painted black, same reason as the black PVC.  Too much movement and colour issues etc.  We did door and surround in natural wood colour.  the windows are black pvc, we will be going with the grey stone as well (probably liscannor/on).  We can also paint over the wood if we fancy a change.
