Thedreamer
Fitted the first batch of our PIR insulation today. I also need to fit some frametherm under the joists, if you have joists with 400mm centres, you go with the 380mm size and it plugs the 20mm gap when it's fitted? Triassic
I found fitting PaiR the worst job, it sounds like you’ve got yours cut to size, which is good. Now don’t forget to use expanding foam to fill and gaps!!
Cpd
Worst job so far..... cutting and fitting Pir. I aim for about a 5mm gap either side of the Pir to then fill with foam. I also did it in split layers. 50mm first, then 120mm and finally 25mm over the timbers. If your cutting it wear a mask.... wear one anyway as it’s horrid stuff.
