You can make a frame with 6x1 and then plant on stops, or you can buy frames that are adjustable to any width.

6'6" x 2'9" is a standard size door so frames are available off the shelf from normal builders merchants / Howdens etc.

Or as above just make one to suit.

I usually leave a note with my mates address and a pound coin claiming eco possession under the law of rights act.

No is was in the disposal heap at a local DIY container storage business. I asked the owner if I could take it.
