Pocster Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 (edited) Hey people ! Googled this but a mix of answers ! To hide my poorly cut blocks ? ; I decided to put a gal steel frame around it . Looks much better . But how do I clean it ? Also as my skills do not permit mm perfect mitre cuts any suggestions on how to ‘hide’ the corners ? . Can you get ct1 in metallic silver ? ?? Pocster Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 Lol ! Almost answer myself Found a company that will supply machine cut 20 mm x 20 mm squares . I could just stick these on the corners . So ! corners to cover poor mitring trim to cover poor block cutting SKILLS ! ?

Onoff Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 (edited) Zinc naturally oxidises over time and goes dull. Try some Zinc Perfect Light spray from Wurth. https://eshop.wurth.co.uk/Perfect-zinc-spray-ZNSPR-LIGHT-ALUZINC-PLUS-400ML/0893114114.sku/en/GB/GBP/ Edited September 11, 2018 by Onoff
Nickfromwales Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 I suppose it’s too late to say use stainless and get it TIG welded and buffed. 1
