lizzie Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 This afternoon they were pulling the last cables (alarm and gate intercom) into the plant room - lovely draw cords all ready to go. Cables now stuck in ducts somewhere between garage and house. Wont pull forward and wont pull back...............not looking forward to tomorrow
vivienz Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Bugger! Has someone cursed you, Lizzie? Even the simple things don't seem to be going right. You must have been a very bad girl in a past life?

You must have been a very bad girl in a past life? Oh I wish!! You are right though this whole build has been a nightmare! If it wasn't for my superstar carpenter which has been an absolute rock and still is here doing all the finishing work others have left I think I would have jumped off the roof (bungalow so no real damage) LOL
Declan52 Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 (edited) How far up the duct has it stopped and roughly how deep are they incase it's a spade you need?? Will only pull it backwards so it's the cable your pulling. Pull the rope to much and it will break. Edited May 22, 2018 by Declan52
ToughButterCup Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Sex might be the answer. What size is the duct? Big enough for a ferret: a lady ferret? Get the cable out as @Declan52 says. Get a pair of ferrets. Get one to call the other, attach a new (stronger) bit of para-cord - you know the rest. 1
lizzie Posted May 22, 2018 Author Posted May 22, 2018 I think its nearer the house where its stuck. Digging up started continuing tomorow, the ducts are a long way down?
