Construction Channel
Hi again all, after not sorting out my section 50 to mole a pipe under my road for too long, I have finally printed off the application form, all seems pretty straightforward except they are asking for a "certificate of title" , which looks to me like it needs to be signed by a solicitor. does anyone know roughly how much this would cost? and does it have to be the same firm that we used when I bought the barn off of my father?? Onoff
This suggests your lender / mortgage provider will hold The Certificate of Title until you've paid everything off. https://www.pocketpence.co.uk/certificate-title-mortgage-6009539.html If you've paid it all off or have no mortgage I guess you'll have it in all the bumpf. Temp
http://www.essexhighways.org/applications/for-contractors/section-50-street-works-licences.aspx If the applicant is the owner of the property, proof of ownership of the property is required, by completing the ‘Certificate of Title’ or sending official copies from the Land Registry. and the link OneOff posted says.. Instead of an official copy of a title plan, you may request a Certificate of Title in Form CI
Construction Channel
Hmm maybe I should have read it a little more. As soon as they start with legal jargon I quickly loose interest. Luckily I rang them this morning and they said to just pop in. All done now and they didn’t charge me, ? it helped that their office was only a few doors down from where I was eating breakfast.
