Vijay
Fed up with it swaying in the wind when setting out, I tried using yellow fishing line which worked much much better. Also used one of these to save wasted time getting knots and twisted string - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fire-Wheel-Kite-Reel-Winder-Handle-Tool-Twisted-String-Line-Outdoor-blue-grip-JD/122946257498?var=423394593303&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D49138%26meid%3D8bd97070c1c14068970f737be115f9d8%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D152899083637%26itm%3D423394593303&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
Russell griffiths
How’s it going any pics im just trying to work out the best way to get this beam and block tied in to an icf wall.
Vijay
Nope you need to do a site visit What's the issue? I'm hoping to put the beams into their exact positions next week
Russell griffiths
Just trying to work out a way to sit the beams in without having to concrete just a small portion, as trying to avoid a dry joint in the concrete. I want to be able to concrete all the way up to ffl in one pour with the beams in place. C mon give us a pic, then I can work out if it’s worth the two hour drive. Vijay
I had to do exactly what you didn't want to do. All I had to do is have rebar joining the 2 lots of concrete (foundation to 1st ICF course concrete) and then there is another lot of rebar to join the first ICF course concrete to the next pour. I guess there could be a way depending on how many floor beams and how difficult your layout is.................
Mr Punter
Crikey @Vijay what size footprint? Maybe an optical illusion, but does it span several post codes?
Vijay
Not sure of the footprint but including the garage, outside walls are around 125 linear metres

Russell griffiths
It’s funny the stupid things you think about, but it is bothering me the fact of having a stupid coloured house for a year before I clad it.
