I hear what you are saying regarding the MCS premium tax. NuHeat supplied UFH for us 20 years ago, they have very glossy brochures now  and prices to match. About 7K for supply only ASHP 12 kW, 300L cylinder, 100L buffer etc, its just too much.

Will look at Earth Save.

I went to these guys who did the design (to a degree, I had to tweak it) and came back with great prices, my own plumber fitted. Skipped RHI.

Can you share your knowledge about solar thermal or a PV diverter ( Eddi ).

I cannot see the benefit of having both, the PV diverter seems much more effective with an immersion in the buffer tank or UVC.
