Grohe vs Geberit Toilet Frames / Cisterns

Recommended Posts

I know there is a lot of love for Geberit on this forum. BUT...........

The boss is not keen on any of the Geberit flush plates, they are all deemed too big (please don’t try an argue with the his logic it IS futile). So then a flush plate by Grohe was spotted in a bathroom showroom and that meets approval. I’m fairly certain it’s this one in this kit:

Ive not found anything negative online and they seem to be cheaper than Geberit (that makes a change for the bosses choices :)). Does anyone have any experience of them?

I believe Grohe are Chinese owned now. Let's hope the quality doesn't suffer like AEG!

I was looking at both but scored a couple of Geberit frames on Gumtree so that was that.

I was admittedly amazed by the size of the Geberit flush plates and worried SWMBO would kick off but she didn't.

Guess she's just used to big things! :)

I actually really like our Kappa20 flush plates:

I reckon it'll just be like when you first get a big flatscreen. Seems massive at first but you get used to it.
