I would quite like these screws to be the same colour as the brackets to be less obvious...

Ok, so, the root cause is we should have got 150 guttering instead of 125, to have only one downpipe on the front, but that's another story and a lesson I have learned at my own cost. 🤦‍♀️

Powder coated screws or just paint over the existing ones? Or am I just being OCD to want to colour match the screws?

That made me chuckle @Onoff I used to have a good mate that was in the 80's band Wham. Did top of the pops with them a few times. He wanted stardom, so set off as a solo artist. Did a couple of TV shows. One was Cheggers plays pop or something. He failed to strike gold. His first single was called Turn to Gold. When i used to bump into his mum, i would always say, "Haven't heard anything of Dave for a while, and she would always reply "Oh, he's big in Japan.

Yes.  That's what self-building does to a previously rational person though.  The big question for me is: are they stainless steel to avoid rust streaks on the render in 20 years time?

Less than 20 years for rust streaks I should think, and yes I was insistent that the screws must be stainless for this very reason.  I did check the screws on site rather than just take their word for it.

The screws will be powder coated, but they will not be ready until the end of next week.  Which is not going to go down well with the builder as he has scheduled the joiners on site Monday to finish fitting the guttering.  Oh well.
