IMG_20251217_210138682.thumb.jpg.a170754287f1ce81dfb442f111faf4a4.jpgIs anyone familiar with this types of shower rail brackets for holding the rail upon which the shower head holder slides up and down on and how to remove these? I could just get a drill I guess to get at the screw underneath, however as can be seen below there is a hole of some sort, which appears not to have a screw head that I can see and maybe it can be removed in an easier way then just drilling through it.Any advice would be greatly appreciatedIMG_20251217_210204213.thumb.jpg.7e109663afe3af8b68d8b6a18b5683e0.jpg

With old (and possibly rusty) Allen key grub screws, a flat head screwdriver about the same size and a few gentle taps with a hammer force it in so it can be undone

A last resort is to hammer a small Torx screwdriver bit into the seized/rounded off hex of the grub screw. I've found a lot of those screws to made of very soft, Chinesium monkey metal.

Replacement riser rail kits are cheap enough, and if you buy one that's too long, you can cut the pole down to match the screw holes in the tiles. Done this a hundred times or more in rentals etc.
