Staple Gun & Decoiler

Afternoon all,

Could someone advise if the loan scheme is running, or does someone have a decoiler and staple gun for sale?

The lovely people at Underfloor Parts have dispatched the materials required for our UFH design so I have a few busy nights ahead!

I just used my thumb, break staples off the strip and just push them in to the insulation. Just as quick

You could buy ours when it comes back. I see you're in Cambridgeshire and we're in Cornwall.

Are most here doing their own ufh install then? What about manifold connections and pressurising?

I was going to do the lot, but the ASHP install plumbers did the ground floor at the same time, then came back to connect and fill the upstairs for another £250.

 

It was a good decision.

I was under pressure to get PIR down, UFH installed and pressurised to get the CemFloor installed pre Xmas so I got a fella in to do it in the end. 

He flew through it and did a great job tweaking a few bits on site that the layout plans hadn't allowed for.

It was sad, yet a relief to see it disappear under the screed!

Thanks @Susie - I now have the buildhub UFH stapler and, all things going to plan will be using it over the next weekend or two, ready to pass on after that.

There are short, and long staples, so I'd get the longer ones as they don't want to pull out so easily. Used the short ones once, never agin.
