nickhills1 Posted Friday at 19:50 Posted Friday at 19:50 (edited) Evening all. Looking for advice please. We have a long driveway which wraps around into a rear patio which is all block paved. We struggle regularly with weeds coming up between the blocks. I have power washed it previously and resanded it but the weeds grew back quickly (even with some weedkiller sprayed. I was thinking that I could lift the blocks in sections and lay weed membrane down on top of the sand and then re-lay the blocks. Would that stop/minimise the weed issue? Thanks in advance for your experience. Edited Friday at 19:50 by nickhills1

Conor Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago A weed membrane will stop the roots of any weeds getting down into the soil. But, by that point the plants will be big enough to be a nuisance anyway, so not a huge benefit.
