Which of these configurations will have the lowest pressure drop I wonder.

Just plumbing in the heat pump and am trying to keep all pressure drops to a minimum. Here are two possible configurations of one part, assume the plastic segment will be copper, which of them20251116_111704.thumb.jpg.3766491557876326c7726216dc01345c.jpg is going to have the lowest pressure drop I wonder and how would I work it out? It is all 28mm pipe.

You have a dinky heat pump, you could easily pipe in 22mm, so if using 28mm don't loose sleep. The difference in pressure drop is very small.

With a pipe bender I could do both 45 degrees as two bends in one length of pipe.  No joints.

Bending 28mm pipe sounds like a challenge, I got the swept bends in the images to avoid bending myself. I do have a conduit bending machine but I am not sure I can get a 28mm former for it  - I will have a look.

I have 28mm formers for my Hilmor bender.  It was originally my dad's.  I also have the imperial sized formers for it.  I don't have the electrical conduit formers though it is the same bender as electricians use so they are available.
