Shed Solar Panels.

I have a swimming pool heater and I would like to add solar panels to the pool shed 

 

Firstly is this even an option. 

 

Secondly is it worth it with the size.

Yes you could probably put 3 PV panels on that.  There are DIY kits around.

It is nearly always worth fitting PV as the energy is useful and easy to shift about.

It's an air source heat pump. 32kw 

 

Are there DIY kits which include batteries?

You can add batteries but I don't see the point for you.  The pool can store a fair amount of energy.

Is it an Olympic sized pool?

 

3x panels will not touch the sides of 32kW. Which way does the shed roof face if the ridge runs north south you can have panels on both sides of the roof I e and east west array
