How much timber cladding is too much timber cladding?

Full timber cladding?  Half brick, half timber?  All elevations?  Etc. Etc.

From a conversation I had with Build Store today, Mortgage providers can be funny with anything over 50% of the build being timber clad

I've heard this 50% number a few times - anyone know does this apply to bungalows as well?

101% you have bought too much. But you can always build a shed, so 102%, but you can always build a log shed, so 103%....

Unless it has certificated fire treatment and is backed by cement board
