I’m relatively new to this site.

im a diy enthusiast and recently retired.
now i have a bit more time on my hands im building a garden room for my son. Blockwork completed and wall plate and joists in place. I will be adding Furrings to top of joists with thick side at 35mm and thin edge 3mm. I intend fitting osb boards and then epdm rubber roof. My question is about fitting the fascia boards. My intention is to fit them after fitting the osb boards and for fascia flush with top of boards before adding rubber. Is this the correct way to fix the fascia boards. Thanks in advance

Yes, on my roof I multitooled the fascia flush with the OSB - my buld up is on your other thread:

It is usually good to keep related posts on the same thread, so people can see the progress and stops you having to repeat the same info. Hope the roof goes well

A photo or drawing always helps. Way better than many words.

But you need the EPDM to lap over the fascia boards so you don't get water entering the gap between the fascia boards and OSB. Assume this is what you are asking?

I can’t send you a photo as I’m not up my sons today.
my question is I guess the fascia boards have to fit flush with the top of the osb boards then add rubber. So I put Furrings on then osb then for fascia’s. Please confirm. Thanks for replying

FF to round 1:45 mins in, and ignore the car chat!

These guys do a detailed vid of installing the EDPM roof here and this is a good watch, shows sequence from start to finish.
