Sliding electric gate width?

The driveway that has been specified on our granted planning application is 7.7m wide.  I personally think this is too large and wonder what is a more suitable width.  The plan is to have a single leaf electric sliding gate.

Thanks nod. That looks perfectly adequate.  I think the architect thought he was designing an entrance to a HGV yard.

I borrowed a tractor and managed to back a ten tone trailer in full of topsoil

Ours is 4m, enough for a 8wheeler to get though at an oblique angle. Tho it was tight and driver said I should have installed a removable post at the far end to get another metre 🤦‍♂️
