Oz07 Posted June 15 Posted June 15 The consultation for small sites is open at present. I sent a response yesterday encourage others to do the same.  Had quite a few don't know answers as was over my head. The most laughable one is where they ask if you agree applications for sites for bng should be exempt from bng 🤯  https://consult.defra.gov.uk/defra-biodiversity-net-gain/improving-the-implementation-of-biodiversity-net-g/ 1
nod Posted June 15 Posted June 15 We’ve had quite few surveys on here I loose interest when they ask the household income 😂

It's a consultation. It's asking for input on several of the concerns about BNG which have been raised on here, for example getting rid of the self build exemption, which LAs are implementing via an onerous unilateral undertaking, and replacing it with an exemption based on the size of the plot - they propose 0.1 ha. I support that, but think the threshold needs to be more than 0.1 ha. Definitely worth reading through and responding. Edited June 15 by LnP 1

If anyone plans on self building again it's in your interest.
