Electric and telephone supply trench

Hi 

We need to dig supply trenches for electric and telephone/broadband supplies. Both supplies will come from the same pole, drop down the pole and go underground to the house.

Can we use the same trench for each supply, marking up with the correct tape etc?

Yes different ducts for each service, look up the drawings that show the separation distances.

I think the separation distance is 300mm. In any event I dug a trench with a 1ft wide bucket and one duct each side of the trench.
