Fixing wall plates on concrete lintels

Has anyone got any suggestions on the best way to affix the wall plates above these concrete lintels.

obviously I can’t just fit the normal straps down the blockwork due to the piers.

Could you fit them externally, then mesh and render over them.

Yes potentially the straps would then be over 2m apart though, and I assume the straps and screws would need to be stainless steel ?

Just had a thought, could I strap the trusses to the piers instead of strapping the wall plate ?

As the straps are to prevent lift, a twisted strap wrapped over the trusses and screwed to the concrete piers should achieve the same result if I’m not mistaken

You can drill and fix to the lintel but as you say the straps are to prevent lift so the piers are the only available place, you could double strap on the centre pier for good measure

If that is a double garage it looks like you could get 4 straps on the front wall plate.  That should be fine.  You can confirm with SE or BC.

Yeah double garage with 2.4m doors 

can’t get the straps on the inside though due to the double thick block work piers

Sorry not paying attention, so on the outside like @Iceverge said.  S/S straps, screws and eml.
