junglejim Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I’m cladding my timber frame house using thermo ayous. I’ve tuned boards to make reveals for the windows that butt up against the frame. I’m wondering whether I should run a bead of silicone sealant sling the joint for weather tightness?

Russell griffiths Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Leave a gap, it allows it to dry out quicker if it was to get wet. mat risinger did a video on this on YouTube, it was found that sealing up every gap kept moisture in rather than letting it in briefly and out quickly. 2
