Unless he can park in such away that you can stil access the land under your ownership, with a motor vehicle. 1
qamar Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 Thank you @ianr Thers is only room for one vehicle to pass at a time
ProDave Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Where I lived as a boy we had a similar shared ownership drive, with us at the end having a garage. The other houses either did not have a car or parked the car in their own back garden so they did not block the drive. Anyone could come and go without being in the way of others. 1

I think people were just more considerate in the old days. I bought this house quite young and the old guy who lived at the other side of the drive gave me the rules of the driveway which we all accepted and got along fine. 39 years later It seems its my turn as the old guy 😅

I can remember when I was 16, lots of years ago, a number of people that would block our drive by parking across it, my dad and his mate just waited for other cars to move and blocked the cars in, back and front. People would complain and dad told them F off, he would be moving his car at 7pm and not before, if they didn't like it they were free to call the police, one did. Police weren't interested and had a good laugh, told them not to block people's driveways, the other cars are legally parked you are not, you will have what until they move. He only had to do a few times and people stopped doing it. British and shared anything doesn't work well.
qamar Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 @JohnMo "People would complain and dad told them F off" 🤣 Can dad pop down to my place and speak to my neighbour 😅 2
