Lighting bollards

Starting to look for these for the steps up to the house. Can anyone make any recommendations on brand? (or ones to avoid)?

 

We're in a pretty exposed location and will get salt in the air in winter.

I have some picked but as they haven't come I cannot recommend them.

One thing I decided is that if these lights are to be left on for long periods of time I would get ones with changeable bulbs as otherwise if the LED electronics go (which they frequently do) then you will have to replace the whole fitting.

There's some on the way home I pass every day that look the mutt's nuts. They come up automatically out of the ground as a barrier. Like this:

We got all our external lights from lights.co.uk, we have 4 which are similar to these https://www.lights.co.uk/motion-detector-pillar-lamp-belen.html, and after 18 months there is not deteriation to the stainless steel but I know they have corrosion resistance ones on there. Shipping was fast and you can get 10-15% back via Quidco sometimes.

Did you order anything in the end?

 

I need to order mine, I cannot decide on putting dawn/dusk bulbs in, using a timer, or ones with motion sensors.

 

I am concerned that the motion sensor ones won't light up until you are basically past them.
