I’ve received prior approval for larger home extension - ground floor - 6.5m from main wall.

I’ve also received full plan application approval for 1st floor 3m extension.

I received plans from my architect as combined ground floor and 1st floor extension. Which I’ve gave it to my builder and he has now build ground floor and 1st floor extension.

Neighbours have complained to council re this extension. Member of Enforcement officer has came over said I do not have permission to build both. I can only build one of the other.

I’m looking to demolish ground floor extension as I cannot keep both. Is there any way I can keep both extension even though they are both approved.

Best thing to do is stop work and put in a new application for what your drawings show. If it gets rejected, build your preferred option of what you have approved.

You'll need a new BC submission as well.

How managed to planning application process? Your architect? I'm wondering how you put in two different proposals but are biking a third?
