Lincolnshire Ian Posted January 25 Posted January 25 We are building a replacement dwelling in the "open countryside" (planners phrasiology). The planning approval includes removal of permitted development rights to erect sheds etc. Could this restrict our ability to erect a welfare cabin (shed) and provide a portaloo?
MikeSharp01 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Nope, as I understand it provided they are temporary there is no issue.
Jilly Posted January 25 Posted January 25 You can appeal some planning conditions if you do it in time.
Alan Ambrose Posted January 26 Posted January 26 No, in fact the CDM regulations insist you have facilities for site workers. As Mike says, these are temporary facilities for the building process. You can also try to have your PD restrictions removed at a later date. I removed ours, at appeal, about 7 years after planning was originally granted. Let me know when the time comes.

Under planning approval, permitted development never applies, you are legally bound to follow approved drawings - but PD should be reinstated once planning completion certificate is signed off. If not appeal later 1
