LSB Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 Hello lovely peeps Who knows what this is and what does it do? It's a linkage mechanism that can be lifted and placed into one of two positions. This is sited beside the transfer levers. TIA Jill
Nickfromwales Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 @Russell griffiths ? He bloody loves excavators. 1
Russell griffiths Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 I think it stops the excavator slewing generally meant for when transporting the machine. I think so don’t hate me if I’m wrong.

twice round the block Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Download an owners manual for it. The change over gate on mine is for auxiliary hydraulic lines on the dipper arm for powering up a pecker or flail head etc.
