BotusBuild
We find ourselves in posession of a bit extra 12.5mm standard plasterboard (about 40-50 boards!). Wondering if there is a way of using this in a bathroom, say by "painting" it with a PVA solution? Or maybe a waterproof sealant, as we have used as part of our "basement" waterproofing on the outside wall (we also have some of this left over 😁)
Redbeard
My bathroom was insulated over 35 years ago with 'Styroliner' (XPS and 9mm - 'standard' - pl'board). No special treatment - painted with vinyl silk. Still absolutely fine.
FuerteStu
If they are in good condition.. Sell them, Buyer collect. It's not worth the sleepless nights using something you know isn't good enough.
Iceverge
What's you alternative, moistureboard? It's nothing special. I wouldn't build a boat out of either. PVA ain't gonna do much. Tank the hell out of the normal stuff and it'll be fine.
