Help! Exterior material advice

Hi everyone, 

 

We have recently remodelled our dormer bungalow and we kept the brick at the bottom of the house, however after trying to clean it we aren’t happy with the brick so wanted an alternative. We don’t want to render and paint, therefore we were considering maybe cladding options. Any suggestions of what would look good over the brick with the design of the our house, which is attached. I have been looking at composite wood effect cladding and the bison cladding. I originally wanted oak cladding, however I don’t like the grey effect it goes over time. Any suggestions on materials and colours would be great! I’m stuck on what to go for! 
 

The windows are agate gray and the render is chalk hill colour.

I would either try and clean the brick again or consider clay tile cladding.

You could try lime wash of some description.

@DevilDamo thanks! I wasn’t aware there could be planning implications on what we choose the look of exterior house to be like? That’s Intresting! Thanks

You went into Planning for the re-model and I assume on those approved drawings, it showed the brick as being retained?
