I've had major issues at my place. Now we have realised a steel spanning 10m to support a external wall being removed is in wrong place. It has a middle column post using a pad buried 1m into ground.

How easy would it be to remove this and start again?

Can the design around it be modified to suit? I'd imagine there's a good few days work for a couple of guys to remove it at best. As ever with money and resolve, anything is possible!

It's totally in wrong place, above joists. I want to revert back to original wall but have to dig new foundations for the external wall and remove steel. But I don't k ow how to proceed....

what is holding the joists up currently?

Some.internal stud work.

A se designed it, but thr previous builders put it in wrong place,  and on one end it's on a non load bearing wall.

I got a new se coming on site to have a look and offer some guidance.

That's the theory side of it sorted. Doing it is another matter and presumably the errant builders are long gone.
