JD44027
Hello All I'm renovating my property and the consumer unit is currently located in my garage, however in the near future i will be demolishing the garage and replacing with a small extension (currently single storey, damp & roofing issues) Just wondering how best to secure & protect the unit in between demolition and until the new extension is watertight, as ideally I want to retain power onsite and avoid having to disconnect or relocate the unit? Glad of any thoughts Thanks Edited January 10 by JD44027
Eric
Something like this?
ProDave
Can you start by posting a picture of your supply and meter where they are at the moment, and then some plans showing where is is now and where you want it to end up.
Conor
Where is your meter/ main fuse? Will you be able to fully isolate the electrics in the area being demolished? I would not want to be demolishing a building with live electric in it. Especially if there is an incoming DNO cable head.
