PAKMAN898
Hello guys I’ve been cutting architrave for my door frames I’ve done most of them in my flat and they turned out okay I’ve been bisecting and then using my sliding bevel I take my bevel to the mitre saw and tip the blade until the bevel and blade are flush but with this door frame I don’t know what I’ve done wrong if someone can guide me I would appreciate it
markc
Just over 45 required, I reckon you tipped the blade but cut from wrong side so while you set blade to say 46 your cut was from the 44 side. We have all done it. Edited October 31, 2023 by markc

markc
Too many years practice and I still do it. Quadrant drives me insane when you roll it onto the other leg and cut it
joe90
I tend to cut over length, work out how far out the angle is then trim slightly to correct it.. chop saw essential.
ProDave
At least this is painted. Wood filler is your saviour. You wait until you try Oak architraves. 1
joe90
I use grab adhesive in the joint, holds it together and acts like a filler.
