ToughButterCup Posted October 18, 2023 Share Posted October 18, 2023 No. 'A' grade is almost irrelevant: it's the depth of the shelving - and the support it gets - that counts; 15mm will sag with the average amount of stuff families cram into a wardrobe. Thats why we use the Elfa storage system now - you can't cram stuff in that system without it being obvious that that's what you have done. We are retired / retiring and trying hard to downsize everything. Our family has 'disappeared', all three of them have their own houses now. Thank goodness. There is lots of advice on YooChube .... Ferdinand Posted October 18, 2023 Share Posted October 18, 2023 For non-sagging shelves I use something more like varnished, or painted, 18mm OSB. 18mm has the advantage that it is the most common standard size, so less expensive per standard amount.
