Door casing first or plastering

We're building a self build detached house.

 

The plasterer says the internal door casing need to be fitted first before boarding and skimming. The joiner says, the casing should be fitted after plasterboard and skimming.

Should internal door casing be fitted before or after plasterboard and skimming?

Any that are on to block work need fitting first 

Those onto stud walls can be done 

either way

Oak or pine, I would never fit oak before plastering, but if pine then prime them and undercoat and chuck them in.
