What fixings for 3 way pendant on standard plasterboard ceiling?

Hi,

we bought a 3 way pendant for the kitchen and I’m just wondering how to fix it to the ceiling. It’s a standard roof in a brand new extension (plasterboard + skim), but the light will go in between joists, so only the plasterboard will hold the weight of the lamp.

what should I buy to make sure it stays there?

thanks

How much does it weigh?  Is it one with 3 solid pendants that hang down so if it gets knocked it couuld put a lot of force on the bracket?  Picture of light fitting?

Ideally there'd be noggins fitted to attach to, failing that, Gripit fixings, whilst overkill for most light fittings, are amazing things.
