VAT reclaim - Invoice address

To reclaim VAT, what address should show on the invoice from builders merchant, the site address or my current resident address?

Always site address, if possible. Same for delivery, and I think this is the more important one. Not the end of the world of some are't, you just need a note to explain why it's different.

We had both addresses, no issues.

We had both addresses, some stuff was delivered to our home address just made sure our name was on the invoices. 

 

We just put a letter in explaining the addresses and change of site name as it was a knock down and rebuild.
