Wonder if we should use another course of marmox just inside the pitched element to thermal break it. Cant run them the whole length as they would be visible so there will stiill be an element of sideways leeching. Losses too small to worry about ? How would they be calculated ? Mr Punter Posted September 9, 2023 Share Posted September 9, 2023 I have used Marmox where we have a single storey element abutting 3 storey, so they are on the steel beam. Dave Jones Posted September 12, 2023 Author Share Posted September 12, 2023 so after talking to marmox they advise running a course just under where the ledger plate sits. There is also a stepped gable on another elevation with same issue.
