G and J Posted February 4, 2025 Posted February 4, 2025 If they go under the underlay what function are they performing? I guess if the underlay is left loose the water still gets past the horizontal battens but why not just put the underlay under the vertical battens?
makie Posted February 4, 2025 Posted February 4, 2025 Unsure, we always go over the felt in Scotland. The felt is supposed to have a slight sag so it doesn't really matter either way.
