"Unfortunately the integrated panels can't be installed on a trocal roof. It is only for concrete roof tiles or slate.. it's to do with the plastic trays that the panels sit in. However you can do an on-roof system.. "

We have the on roof system, it works OK but is noticable in how far it sits off the roof.

We do have an old frame that was designed to sit under tiles bolted to the trocal feet which really spaces it off the roof a lot. One to sort when we replace the solar panels in future.

We can't replace solar panels due to original feed in tariff we are trying to maintain.

Do you think you are going to get them any flusher-fitting than what you have already? I doubt it.

Under the FIT scheme youve always been able to replace components on a like for like basis but OFGEM changed the rules in 2021 so you can change more or less what you want including increasing or decreasing the installed capacity and still retain your FIT payments on the original capacity

Do you have a link to the reference material? Interesting topic tbh, and there’s a lot of confusion over this.

That needed a couple of reads, and I still don't feel I fully digested it!! I'll keep at it, but agree that it created a suitable and pragmatic resolve to something people thought was 'ridiculous'.

5 pints of Siler Adder in atm in my hotel, so the brain is now becoming "befuddled". Time for an early night, as some ASHP/UFH commissioning awaits me tomorrow!
