You will have the trenches redug before the bco visits again. As long as the existing footings are as deep as your new ones, you don't have to worry. Have you considered getting friends or family to have a concrete party. One mixing at the front, barrow round, level off. A few hours and it is done. Deejay_2 Posted May 27, 2023 Author Share Posted May 27, 2023 Just a quick update as not much has happened. Still waiting for confirmation of "commencement" from BCO. Have just paid diggerman - £560 which I think is reasonable for 2 trial holes, one 8 m trench 1.2 m deep, and exposing massive roots of conifer. Two visits in all.
