Vera16
I am in the final stages of installing a Vent Axia + Quiet vent kit purchased from BPC. I have wall mounted the unit in the downstairs wet room so it will sit above a wall mounted toilet and the whole thing will be boxed in (with access panel of course). It is currently sitting on the simple hanging rail provided by Vent Axia which is fine but I am wondering if I should install some sort of vibration dampening material on the wall so that it sits against that vs against the wall (external solid brick wall). MJNewton
Ours is on a wall in the loft (above a bedroom) and I opted to effectively sit ours on some rubber exhaust hangers to provide some isolation from the building. We don't hear it, but that doesn't mean it was necessarily necessary as we didn't try it mounted direct!
crispy_wafer
Mine too is in the loft, on the hanger + a piece of 4*2 bolted to a gable wall, yet to plug it in. I have wondered about noise and resonance and then if suspending like they do with Air con units may be a better method.
JohnMo
I have mine on a internal wall on a double layer of 18mm ply from floor to ceiling. Little or no noise transfer. So you should be ok on a solid brick wall.
