jfb
I have a preplumbed cylinder that will have to be G3 compliant. what is the end result from the plumber - a compliance certificate like an electrical installation? what if I fell out with the plumber (it hasn’t happened) and the install was complete but the certificate not forthcoming? Can another plumber look over an install to confirm g3 compliance cheers all
LA3222
I installed my preplumbed cylinder myself then had to pay a plumber £300 to spend half an hour checking it and telling me it's fine. No certificate, I filled out the installation checklist which comes with the ecodan and then he put his name and G3 cert no. on it. Gave that to BC and that was fine. ProDave
BC are looking for the installation checklist to be signed and dated by someone they know and have already checked his credentials. They took one look at the name on mine and said that's fine. I paid a LOT less than £300 for the plumber to make the final connections test it and sign it off.
