Pocster Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Ordered 2 doors 7 weeks ago ( pre hung ). One hinged on the left (so push on the right from inside ) the other the opposite way round. Both turned up today ; but both hinged on the left!! Checked my order ( assumption is I am wrong ). I AM CORRECT!!! Everyone f's up at some point.
Pocster Posted October 28, 2022 Author Posted October 28, 2022 Some walk on glazing arrived yesterday..... I haven't been brave enough to unpack that yet..... 3

Pocster Posted October 28, 2022 Author Posted October 28, 2022 (edited) Hmmmm These 2 short bits of vertical timber ( 3rd one at the base ) . I thought they were for transportation- but they are the door jamb ???? 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Rather than 1 nice continual length ??? or have I got this wrong ? Edited October 28, 2022 by pocster

Either side you wouldn’t want just 3 ‘bits’ . The otherside is nothing ; flush with hinges . I unscrewed one of those bits expecting it to fall out - it didn’t . It won’t move no other supplied timber apart from architrave . Edited October 28, 2022 by pocster

Pocster Posted October 28, 2022 Author Posted October 28, 2022 IMHO there should be 3 continual lengths around the inner frame yes? ( where those stupid bits are ) One of the doors is effectively upside down ( may be possible to remove the head timber and spin it 180 ). But ; not what I would expect . Company have been sent appropriate email. I kicked BT's ass this week so I'm on a roll!
Pocster Posted October 28, 2022 Author Posted October 28, 2022 F off email gets me a phone call Door stops ( jambs ? ) missing Might be able to flip / rotate ( wft ) door . Already indicated even if it work I want compensation. wine time now !
